Press | Press releases 15.07.2010 CropEnergies' annual general meeting resolves first dividend payment The annual general meeting of CropEnergies AG, Mannheim, on 15 July 2010 passed a resolution to pay a dividend for the first time. The total dividend payout is EUR 4.3 million. That is equivalent to EUR 0.05 per share. All the other motions put forward by the company's executive board and supervisory board were also adopted by a clear majority of over 99%. Approximately 800 shareholders and guests representing 82% of the share capital, attended the annual general meeting held in the Rosengarten in Mannheim. More --> 13.07.2010 CropEnergies reports a strong 1st quarter Growth in revenues and earnings despite 5-year plant overhaul in Zeitz CropEnergies AG, Mannheim, increased its revenues in the 1st quarter of the 2010/11 financial year by five percent to EUR 93.5 (previous year: 2009/10: EUR 89.0) million. Higher bioethanol and co-product sales in Belgium contributed especially. EBITDA improved strongly to EUR 9.7 (previous year: 0.7) million after the 1st quarter of the previous year had been burdened by the start-up phase at the new plant in Belgium. This was equivalent to a margin of 10.4 (previous year: 0.8) percent. The operating result rose to EUR 2.4 (previous year: -3.2) million, although depreciation almost doubled to EUR 7.4 (previous year: 3.9) million. With an annual capacity of 100,000 tonnes of food-grade liquefied CO2 and scheduled to start operations as early as the end of 2010, the plant is being erected by CT Biocarbonic GmbH, a joint venture of CropEnergies AG from Mannheim and Tyczka Energie GmbH from Geretsried, in the immediate vicinity of the bioethanol plant of CropEnergies in Zeitz.
