Dr. Lutz Guderjahn

Lutz Guderjahn graduated with a Degree in Chemistry from the Technical University of Braunschweig followed by a Doctorate in Carbohydrate and Technical Chemistry in 1995. He has held different positions within the Südzucker AG since joining the company in 1995. From 1995 to 1999, he performed a variety of functions in the Central Research and Development department and in Production. In 1999, he was appointed Head of Business Development in Südzucker AG's Palatinit division. From 2002, Lutz Guderjahn was involved in the Group's "Bioethanol" project and became a member of the Management Board of CropEnergies Bioethanol GmbH with responsibility for Bioethanol Sales and Marketing as well as for Business Development and Public Affairs in January 2005.
As Chief Operating Officer he has been a member of the Executive Board of the CropEnergies AG since August 2006.
In January 2010, Lutz Guderjahn was appointed President of the European Bioethanol Fuel Association (eBIO).

After completing his training as a banker, Joachim Lutz graduated with a Degree in Business Administration from University of Mannheim, specializing in banking, finance and auditing. Thereafter he worked from 1984 until end of 1990 for Deutsche Bank AG in the corporate finance sector, concentrating on large capital corporations.
In January 1991 he moved to Südzucker AG in Mannheim as manager financing. In 1995 he was promoted as Head of Finance and Investor Relations of Südzucker Group, comprising all treasury, corporate finance and capital markets origination functions.
In May 2006, Joachim Lutz was appointed Chief Financial Officer of CropEnergies AG.
