CropEnergies Executive Board Member Dr. Guderjahn Appointed Member of Südzucker Executive Board

Mannheim, 1 February 2012 - Dr. Lutz Guderjahn (46) who has been a member of the executive board of CropEnergies AG, Mannheim, since 2006 will leave his position as a member of CropEnergies' executive board to join the Südzucker executive board after adjournment of the annual general meeting of CropEnergies AG on 17 July 2012.

Guderjahn will succeed Prof. Dr. Markwart Kunz (63), who holds the engineering, as well as research and development portfolios. Guderjahn will also assume Kunz' responsibility for the CropEnergies segment, thus continuing to closely accompany the further growth of the CropEnergies Group.
The supervisory board of CropEnergies AG will make a decision concerning Guderjahn's succession on the CropEnergies executive board in due time before the end of his term in office.
